Who is Renata Faria?

Hi! My name is Renata, and I've been a product manager since 2020, working with Web and Mobile products. Today, I'm part of the Anti-fraud product team at Serasa Experian. Previously, I worked with internal products for national and international clients from Apple (in AID - Apple Innovative Development), there, I was one of the responsible for starting the team's agile process. Before that, I worked on an internal product in iFood's logistics department, which was my first experience with products.

Education

Undergraduation (2015-2021)

I have a BS degree in Digital Systems and Media from the renowned Federal University of Ceará. This course combines several Computer Sciences, Design and communication skills, which fits perfectly with my current profession.

Apple Developer Academy (2016-2017)

The Apple Developer Academy is a program led by Apple in several locations around the world. Through this program, I developed several important skills for my daily work as a product manager. In addition, I developed 5 digital products with colleagues, one of them almost became a startup!

Master Degree (2023-ongoing)

The MS degree is teaching me professional researching skills. This has made a huge difference in my career, since my Discovery process are becoming more professional. In my dissertation, I am solving problems in partnership with the company I am working for, which is another impact I am doing as PM.

Projects and Prizes

CocoaHeads

CocoaHeads is a group of enthusiasts and professionals who organize themselves to bring together people with the same passion: developing applications for Apple devices. I participated as a speaker and volunteer organizer of the community for four years (between September 2017 - December 2021).

WWDC 17/19/20/21

I have participated and won four times the contest held by Apple for participation in its annual developer event in San Jose, California. Only 350 students from around the world are chosen and each one receives a VIP ticket to the event as a prize.
